Vivotek have launched their own iPhone App for use with the range of Vivotek IP Cameras.

iViewer is available from the iTunes Store for just £5.99 – view the preview information here – iViewer.

This new small dome IP camera is available in two versions:

Vivotek FD8133 – 1 Megapixel, h.264 video compression, built-in micro-SD card recording

Vivotek FD8134 – as above plus built-in infra-red LEDs, true day/night (with IR cut-filter), and POE-ready

Vivotek IP 7161 Network Camera Reviewed by PC Pro Magazine

The Vivotek IP 7161 Network Camera has just been reviewed in the latest edition of PC Pro magazine.

Their judges preferred the performance of the previously tested Axis P3301 dome camera.

The other camera mentioned in their test, the Vantage VIPC1431EP has been superceded by the ACTi ACM-1231 (and is now a megapixel model).
